Short-term Opportunity: High-Quality Rehearsal Space in Hamburg
The DfdK has recently gained the opportunity to make a high-quality rehearsal studio in Hamburg available for a limited period under special conditions. In cooperation with Silvia Varelli, we are offering this advantage specifically to our members and participants from the independent arts scene.
For the period from May 1 to May 30, 2026 (excluding May 15 and May 20), the studio can be rented at a flat rate of €1,500 (gross)—significantly below the usual rental costs for comparable spaces in this location and with this equipment.
This offer is particularly aimed at artists, companies, or working groups who wish to work intensively over several weeks.
Space & Equipment
The studio is located on the 3rd floor of a historic artists’ building on Seilerstraße in St. Pauli and covers approximately 100 m².
Equipment includes:
Bright, airy room with 5 m ceiling height
Wooden floor
Large mirrored wall (coverable)
Sound system and piano
Dimmable wall lighting
Additional equipment (on request): yoga equipment, chairs, and tables.
Infrastructure
Toilets on all floors
Changing facilities in the sanitary areas
Shared kitchens on the ground and 3rd floors (available by arrangement)
Location & Accessibility
Central location in St. Pauli with good transport links and infrastructure
Walking distance to St. Pauli U-Bahn and Reeperbahn S-Bahn
Bicycle parking available
Courtyard parking on request (paid)
Note: No elevator – access is via stairs only.
Rental Conditions
A single party is sought for the entire period. Splitting between two groups is possible if the timing allows.
Shorter rental periods are excluded.
Mediation is handled through DfdK, while the rental agreement is directly with the landlord.
Deadline: If there is no interest by April 15, 2026, the space will be offered to others.
