So much work goes into the applications we submit - research, conception, writing - and so much depends on them. And then a rejection only comes as a formal notification, without any feedback. No chance to get an assessment of what made the difference. In this workshop, led by dramaturge Matthias Quabbe, we will use your applications to discuss what you can do differently next time, look at basic approaches based on specific passages in your texts and compare your applications with the funding criteria. We can also discuss individual topics and questions together. Registration for the workshop is possible from now until February 10.

Matthias Quabbe is a dramaturge and works with Reut Shemesh, Rykena/Jüngst, Alexandra Waierstall and others, develops work concepts, gives workshops and writes about dramaturgical practice. In his work as a dramaturge, he combines production dramaturgy, conceptual project development and strategic advice on artistic development processes. He is co-founder of the platform Guterplan (www.guter-plan.net), which offers online training, live workshops and individual advice as comprehensive further training. Together with Daniel Rademacher, he has led the Werkstatt Dramaturgie Tanz since 2023. From 2007 to 2019 he was dramaturge and production manager at K3 | Tanzplan Hamburg.
