Workshop Application Letter

11.10.24 | 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. | Location: SOAL e.V. Große Bergstraße 154 | Participation fee: 10 €

With Noah Holtwiesche (theater scholar and long-standing jury member in the field of performance, music and spoken theater at the BKM Hamburg).

What does it take for a jury to get a clear picture of a proposal? How can a project idea be presented clearly, convincingly and credibly in an application? What criteria play a role in the funding decision? And what do the jurors really look for - what is important, what is less so? In the first part of the workshop, we take on the role of the jury in a fictitious jury meeting and decide on project applications ourselves. This will give us valuable insights into the decision-making criteria and processes of juries. In the second part, we will look at specific design features of successful concepts and applications and discuss the DOs and DON'Ts. In the third part, we will transfer the knowledge gained to the participants' own project proposals and take time for constructive, inspiring feedback.
